Mark started smoking at just 8 years of age and by the time he was 19 years of age he was addicted to nicotine and was smoking 25-30 cigarettes a day and it all started with just 1 cigarette!
So... Mark knows and understands what you as a smoker go through on a daily basis and why you as a smoker can sometimes find it very hard to use the willpower method or the cold turkey method to help you rid yourself of the addiction. Mark remained stuck in the 'nicotine trap' until about 15 years ago when he 'REALLY MADE UP HIS MIND' that he would 'never smoke again' and once that very SIMPLE decision was made 'in his mind' he never ever looked back, never had withdrawalsand regained his health, his energy, sense of taste and smell in no time at all and remains a VERY HAPPY NON SMOKER today!
Mark also knows how hard it is to get rid of a 'smoking related disease' once you have contracted one! Because at just 65 years of age, just 3 months after retiring from his business that he worked hard at and built up over years and years, Mark's Grandad died of 'throat cancer' and here's what Mark remembers about that tragic time;
"I remember being told that my Grandad was ill and had throat cancer and whenever we went to his house we weren't allowed to go up to see him in his bedroom... I remember the most horrific and disturbing sounds coming from his bedroom where my Grandad was lying in bed in so much pain, the sounds were like somebody trying and trying to clear their throat non stop and you could hear him coughing up all the s*it from his throat and it seemed like forever... I will never forget those sounds and the sheer pain that he suffered and all because of those filthy, disgusting cancer sticks that are 'legally' sold by the tobacco companies and the governments... knowing that millions of hospital beds worldwide are taken up by people with 'smoking related illnesses and diseases!!!"
Mark has always had an interest in 'the power of the mind' and has used it on many occasions! Mark used it in his early teens to help him leave his surroundings of drug dealers, gangs, burglaries, murders, car theft and many of the other usual things that you'd expect when you grow up on one of London's roughest, toughest housing estates.
Mark also spent some years in childrens homes because coming from a very low income single parent family with three sisters, money gets very tight, stressful and some things 'don't always work out how you want them too'!... BUT, you can still achieve things in life that you never thought possible when you want to, no matter how bad things get sometimes!
By using the 'Power of The Mind' Mark became a business owner and entrepreneur but continued for many years exploring the attributes and benefits of hypnosis. Mark then saw one of his favourite hypnotists Paul McKenna live on stage and from then on knew that a Hypnotist is exactly what he wanted to become, he then found that he had a natural ability for Hypnotism which surprised him very much.
Not knowing for many years because of his mother and father separating when he was so young, it came as a surprise to find out later on in life, that his Italian father had traveled and played as a trumpet player with a circus for many, many years, so it became obvious to Mark where his ability to perform on stage had came from!
Mark continued exploring hypnosis and took to the stage with 'Mark Anthony's Hypnotic Show' where he became an instant success. From there he was continuously asked "When are you going to do a show just for the adults?" so Mark put together strictly for the 18+ and called it 'Mark Anthony's HypNaughty Show'. Mark now performs both shows all across Australia and overseas.
Mark Anthony knows and understands the serious side of Hypnosis, and uses his hypnotic abilities to hypnotise people to rid them of fears and phobias, stop smoking, lose weight plus much more. He initially opened an office in Miami, but has since moved in to a clinic at the Isle Of Capri near Surfers Paradise where he practises 'Hypnosis Therapy' today. He has also released the first volume of 'Mark Anthony's Hypnosis Therapy' cds including titles 'Stress Buster', 'Lose Weight' and 'Stop Smoking'.
